The Penrith Rugby Club was established in 1965 and was formally known as the Nepean District. The club played in sub-district competitions and then the Sydney Second Division Competition. The club was promoted to the Sydney First Division Competition in 1995. Penrith fields four senior grades and three Colts sides in the Shute Shield Premier Rugby Competition.
The Challenge
TiTANIUM Web Consulting were approached to re-design the original and out dated Penrith Rugby website. The focus was to provide coaches, managers, players, parents and other members of the public with the latest information on news, events, games and results. Showcasing the main sponsors of the club was also a requirement.
The Solution
Delivered an easy to use website that allows the club to provide up to date information on events, news, games, results and players. When designing the website we kept in mind that the majority of visitors would be browsing on a mobile device, due to travelling to games to look up match information and field locations and the demographics of the target audience.
The CMS solution implemented allows coaches and managers to easily add news, maintain player information and game results.
